I took a trip to Venice Italy and encountered a strange dish. It was called Squid ink pasta. It had very dark almost black noodles drowned ina black soup. it looked terrible, like nothing you would ever want to eat. But when it hit my lips the dish created a new depth of color and flavor and became my new favorite dish.
